Introduction to Biblelogic.com
Biblelogic.com is an Inter-net ministry that developed as a "by product" from a "Meat" of the Scriptures, non-affiliated, non-denominational, weekly Bible Study Group. The regular participants of the study group (who are familiar with the Hebrew and the Greek of Scriptures) are concerned by the many faulty doctrines, and mystical Biblical concepts, that appear to have infiltrated many of the local Churches, and are being promoted. Biblelogic.com is a way to present to those willing to make the effort, the documentation of facts from Scripture, presented in a simple, logical, and easy to comprehend format that can be used to correct faulty doctrines and passages leading to Biblical mysticism. It is our prayer and objective that Biblelogic.com will be an aid in the Restoration of the Original belief(s) taught in the Tanakh (the Hebrew Scriptures). We try to expose error, and help to restore Scriptural "truth" as has been clearly revealed to us from the Scriptures, using logic (logos).Definition of "Logic" (Greek logos, "spoken word," "speech," "reason," "the oral expression of thought"), the science dealing with the principles of valid reasoning and argument.
Logic is the effort to determine the conditions under which one is justified in passing from given statements called premises, to a conclusion that is claimed to follow from them. Logical validity is a relationship between the premises and the conclusion such that if the premises are true then the conclusion is true.
The validity of an argument should be distinguished from the truth of the conclusion. If one or more of the premises is false, the conclusion of a valid argument may be false. For example, "All mammals are four-footed animals; all people are mammals; therefore, all people are four-footed animals" is a valid argument with a false conclusion. On the other hand, an invalid argument may by chance have a true conclusion. i.e. "Some animals are two-footed; all people are animals; therefore, all people are two-footed" happens to have a true conclusion, but the argument is not valid. Logical validity depends on the form of the argument, not on its content. If the argument were valid, some other term could be substituted for all occurrences of any one of those used and validity would not be affected. By substituting "four-footed" for "two-footed," it can be seen that the premises could both be true and the conclusion false. Thus the argument is still invalid, even though it has a true conclusion.
Scriptural Applications (or misapplications) of logic
Many "foundational" Christian Doctrines, that are developed from "interpretations" of Scriptural passages lack the proper application of logic. Because of this failure to apply "logic" or the deliberate refusal to properly separate invalid arguments, the results are most often "false conclusions." Misunderstood passages of Scripture are often answered by a "faith" required cover-up, "this is a mystery, or that it is a mystery," " we are not meant to know or to understand this," "just accept it by faith" are some of the answers to the results of faulty exegesis, leading to invalid and false conclusions.
"Faith" is a word that has become one of the misused "cover-ups" added to avoid proper study or a challenge to determine whether "things" are in fact true (in according to the Scriptures). Many times the analytical or the "educated" mind runs into mysterious "customs" established by the amalgamation of various cultures within the Christian Community. Some customs have been established for so long, that Susy may be in the fourth grade, before she discovers that there is no "Santa Claus." Sometimes these mystic practices are evident within the Churches, as when the Priest, or pastor thinks he is actually distributing the "actual flesh and blood of Jesus" during the administration of communion, simply because of the failure to recognize a simple Biblical allegory.

The English Translations:
It is our opinion, that every English translation of the original reflects the biases of the translators. There is no such thing as an existing accurate or correct English translation of the Hebrew, Aramaic, or the Greek manuscripts. However, some are clearly better than others (we use many as a reference), to determine complete truth. We never take a translation as an authority over the original language of the Hebrew, Aramaic, or the Greek. This includes word choice, punctuation, word order, terms and terminology, past usage of words (etymology), present usage of words, and the correct applicable understanding of basic Scriptural words and terms. Conclusion:
It is our hope and prayer, that those who will take the time reviewing the documentation that we have presented in this web-site will discover a renewed interest in the pure truth provided in Scripture. Much of Scripture is not really that mysterious. Scripture is written to be comprehensible. Many times we are at fault when Scripture "appears to be" incomprehensible.
The Scriptures as revealed to us, as will be shown, is very "logical." Very little of Scripture is really mysterious. However, throughout the last 1700 years, pastors and teachers, and various Denominations have not been vigilant to weed out false and corrupted teachings, choosing instead to build upon and amalgamate many Pagan customs developed by various cultures, into what has become the "false" but accepted basic framework of Modern Christianity. In doing so, many "thinking" analytical educated men and women, have been "turned off" by modern Christian mysticism, and look outside the mystical confinement of the local Church in the on-going effort to obtain "truth," truth that must involve "logic."
It is a fact, that many of the current accepted new "foundational" doctrines of modern Christianity, are the result of amalgamated Pagan customs, that do not have a clear foundational base in the historical Church; they are not found in the ancient Hebrew, Aramaic, or Greek autographs of Scripture, and were not taught by the Apostles.
Through Biblelogic.com, we intend to teach a difference, and in this way, bring light to Bible subjects that have been taught as mysterious, or have at least been conflicting, inconclusive, or ambiguous, not at all representative of the Historical Scriptural message.
